The city of Bergen, Norway

When the sun is shining from a clear, blue sky, Bergen is a very nice city. In the center of the town you find 'Lungegårdsvannet', a big man made pond with a nice fountain.

Just above the water you find 'Marken', with old buildings and small alleys.

If we go towards the Theater, we pass through the city park, crossing 'Olav Kyrres gate', before we get to 'The Blue Stone' at 'Nedre Ole Bulls Plass'. From here we can see the Theater.

If we then take a left, across 'Torgalmenningen', we get to 'Fisketorget' - The Fish Marked, and then we have 'Bryggen' with the old Hanseatic buildings. Bryggen is on the UNESCO list for World Cultural Heritage sites.

From the Fish Marked, if you go the opposite way of 'Bryggen', you pass'Vetrlidsallmennig' on your way into 'Kong Oscars gate'. From 'Vetrlidsallmenning', you can see the ground station for 'Fløibanen', which will take you Bergen's most famous vantage point, Fløien.
